Fresh Logistics welcome Lee Curtis to the role of Southern Operations Manager to open and manage their new depot within the M25

Fresh Logistics are delighted to announce that Lee Curtis has joined the team as Southern Operations Manager. Lee will be managing the opening of our new depot in London. An ever-increasing workload across multiple industry sectors has driven the expansion plans. Along with additional parking for vehicles, the new site will also have increased office space and both frozen & chilled storage space.

The Fresh Group, who have their HQ in Derby are specialists in providing temperature-controlled solutions to all industries. Their success has led to substantial growth in 2018 through continuous improvement of their service offering in the food and pharmaceutical industries especially, along with several big marketing campaigns requiring frozen and chilled transport and storage across the entire UK. As an interesting fact, Fresh Logistics have been an integral part in giving away 20,000,000 chilled and frozen products so far this year in city centre marketing events.

Fresh Logistics Managing Director, Alan White, stated ‘it’s fantastic to welcome someone of Lee’s calibre and experience to the business. His impressive track record speaks for itself and, having been on the other side of the counter, knows the difference between a good and a great logistics service. He will be a real asset to the business and shows our commitment to providing service of the highest level whilst continuing to expand in the South.’

With a professional career spanning over 25 years, Lee has excelled in logistics, supply chain, production, warehousing, project and account management in his previous roles at companies such as Gate Gourmet, Just Falafel, Kerry Foods, Greencore and more recently Nigel Fredericks.

Lee Curtis commented ‘I have used Fresh Logistics as a supplier for many years now, both at Just Falafel and Nigel Fredericks, I could never fault their service and the immediate ability and willingness to help, no matter the situation. I had a great relationship with the team and they were always easy to work with so when the opportunity came up to join them as the Southern Operations Manager I had no hesitation in accepting this new and exciting challenge.’
